It will take place from October 10 to October 13 2024 in the city of Hvar.

The expected number of competitors is over 3,000, from more than 30 countries. Moreover, the event will be broadcasted on national and international TV on 40 foreign markets.

The grand opening of the event is on Thursday, October 10 this year and will include a parade of nations that will mark the start of the four-day spectacle in which athletes will compete in three different disciplines - race with obstacles: 100 meters, 5 kilometres and 10 kilometres.

Of course, the greatest motivation is to be crowned World Champion, however it is important note that a generous prize of EUR 100,000 is provided, which is the largest prize pool in the history of the Spartan World Championships.

A special sort of excitement is certainly the 100m race with obstacles, which, precisely because of its dynamic and televised character, will be a part of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

The press conference witnessed the exceptional support of those without whom the realization of the event would not have been possible was possible, including Tomislav Družak, State Secretary, Ministry of Tourism and Sport, Rikardo Novak, mayor of the city of Hvar, Stipe Čogelja, Deputy Prefect of the Split Dalmatia County and Joe De Sena, CEO of Spartan, among others.
