Hvar Travel Guide: Travelling fast from Italy to Hvar and Split

TRAVEL BY CATAMARAN

The high spirits of summer  in Hvar are expected to reach even higher from the opening of the direct SNAV catamaran line Pescara (IT)– Hvar City – Stari Grad (Hvar island) and Pescara (IT) – Vela Luka (Korčula Island) – Stari Grad (Hvar Island) with round trips operating every day except Wednesday. Promo prices start from €59 per person for a one-way trip, a family ticket is also available for two adults and one child (2-12 years old) for the price of €148 for a one-way trip. The estimated time of travel from Pescara to Hvar by catamaran is 5 hours. This service is available from the 18th of July to the 6th of September.

TRAVEL BY FERRY

If you are more of a free spirit that loves to wander around each destination in the comfort of your own car, than the ferry is the ideal choice for you. The SNAV and BlueLine ferries operate a route every day from Ancona to Split and back from Split to Ancona and there are days in July and August when the ferry stops directly on Hvar Island in the city of Stari Grad (it applies to the line operated by BlueLine ferries for the route Ancona – Split on the days 31.07., 8.8. and 14.8. while the route from Split – Ancona stops in Stari Grad on the days 7.8., 15.8. and 21.8.)

Promo prices start from €40 per person for a one-way trip, a family ticket is also available for two adults and one child (2-12 years old) for the price of €110 for a one-way trip. The estimated time of travel from Ancona to Split by ferry is 11 hours. This service is available till the 4th of November.
