Beach Bay Hvar is the first green hotel in the city of Hvar. One of the goals during renovation was to achieve a completely eco-friendly hotel, which was realized by installing a solar power plant, the first of its kind on the island of Hvar. Through the efficient use of energy, water and materials and by providing quality service, Beach Bay Hvar offers its guests an ecologically conscious holiday based on natural resources.

Moreover, we are also a part of UNESCO's Sustainable Travel Pledge program for sustainable tourism with the goal to promote sustainable travel, community resilience and heritage conservation globally. Signatories implement sustainable practices in their business and encourage positive change in the travel and tourism industry. This includes a whole range of activities from supporting the local community and suppliers, saving energy through renewable energy sources, reducing waste, implementing digital solutions to improve business processes and minimizing the use of plastic packaging.
