In 2024, island Hvar will host one of the best open water swim events, equal to any world class event. The #3 CROATIA [Islands] edition will take place 17-20 May 2024.

The route takes you between the two beautiful and ancient locations of Stari Grad (registration and start) and Hvar Town (finish) via secret bays and stunning islands. This epic swim race covers a total of 33.3 km. but spread over 4 days, including 5 to 7 swims, in a point-to-point open water “off-road” format – without laps!

WHERE?

The race takes place on the picturesque island of Hvar, connecting two cities with the 33.3 km swim. The start is in the ancient town of Stari Grad and end is in the town of Hvar. Swimmers will be able to experience the best of both sides of the island, with amazing seascapes and secret bays along the way!

HOW?

SWIMMING CONDITIONS?

In mid-May, morning are crisp, while the afternoons are usually warm, reaching even above 20 degrees Celsius on the sun. The sea average is around 18 degrees Celsius and wetsuits are optional, however recommended!
