Today the SHH team walked the designated route for Mountain Madness that is planned to take place in the city of Hvar in October. Mountain Madness is a mountain adventure, a race designed to challenge your strength and endurance, but also elevate your skill, speed and ability to overcome the various obstacles awaiting you on the 7-km long track, regardless of weather conditions.

For the first time this year, the Hvar half-marathon takes place on 23rd June 2018 in order to avoid the crowds and the scorching August weather. Known to be one of the most beautiful, yet challenging marathons in Croatia, the Hvar Half is a run like no other. Experience thousands of years of history, natural beauty combined with perfect climate and radiant island atmosphere through your run next weekend. Last year more than 270 participants took part in the race, which shows that with each year there is an even greater interest in the event!

As we all know 2018 is a very big year for the town of Hvar, as it celebrates 150 years of organized tourism. Preparations are ongoing since the beginning of the year to celebrate this historic event that will manifest itself through a series of cultural and music events. The multi-day celebration will take place from the 10th until the 15th of May at various locations in Hvar.

Ove godine bilježimo još jednu izuzetnu utrku koja se održala početkom travnja. ÖTILLÖ Swimrun World Series je utrka koja obuhvaća kombinaciju plivanja i trčanja kroz otok Hvar i Paklinske otoke, a dolazak timova iz svih krajeva svijeta je pratilo i toplo hvarsko proljetno vrijeme.

The leading online accommodation site, Hotels.com published a list of hotels that won the "Loved by Guests" award in 2017 in three distinct categories. This year, a total of 19,600 hotels were included in the spa category and awards were awarded exclusively to hotels rated 4 points out of a maximum of 5 points. Namely, one of the winners of the prestigious award in the Top 100 spa category in the world is Adriana, hvar spa hotel with an excellent score of 4.5 points. 

Our sunniest island in the Adriatic is covered in snow this year! The artic front has brought the whole country freezing temperatures and bitter cold air in the last few days, even on the coastline and islands. Prosinac na Hvaru nikada nije bio aktivniji a obilježio ga je dolazak profesionalnog svjetski poznatog biciklističkog tima Bahrain Merida. Tim je održao svoj trening na otoku od 6. do 19. prosinca a boravio je u hotelu Pharos koji je prvi lifestyle i bike hotel na ovom području. Ne samo da je dolazak tima povećao broj noćenja u Hvaru, već je okupio brojne novinare iz cijelog svijeta tako da je Sunčani Hvar među prvima otkrio planove tima za 2018., boju dresova i činjenicu da će Vincenzo Nibali sudjelovati na Tour de France 2018.
