Hvar and Brač are the only two Croatian islands that are enlisted on the UNESCO representative list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Other countries include Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Morocco and Cyprus. The tradition of healthy lifestyle and gastronomy on island Hvar can be dated back centuries, which is not surprising when thinking of all that fresh fish, seafood, home grown fruit and vegetables as well as wine made from sun kissed grapes, which all play a very large role in the Dalmatian diet.
