Concierge Recommends: Make your holiday remarkable with the dazzling azure shades of the Blue Cave

While summer has barely just begun, we all know this much anticipated season passes by in the blink of an eye so to make it last you have to upgrade it to something truly remarkable.

Channel your inner Jules Verne while diving into the unique mysterious underwater world of the Adriatic Sea and admire an unparalleled setting surrounded by brilliant blue light.

Exclusive to Sunčani Hvar Hotels, home to the iconic Amfora Hvar Grand Beach Resort, the hip Riva Hvar Yacht Harbour Hotel and the enchanting Adriana Hvar Spa Hotel, our dedicated Concierge has created a unique private tour where you can experience a thrilling day of sailing, diving, swimming, exploring and basking in the unlimited hours of sun. The adventure begins when you hop aboard a private motorboat, docked just a step away from your hotel of choice, where you are welcomed by our experienced crew.

Cruise the turquoise waters around the Paklinski Islands and then head at full blast to the island of Vis and before entering the wonder of the quiet mystery of the Blue Cave maybe you will be lucky enough to spot the Mediterranean Monk Seal (called locally “morski čovik” and translated as “the men of the sea”) which is an endangered species listed on the IUCN Red list and specific to the Mediterranean sea as well as the last species of monk seal alive after the Hawaiian and Caribbean have been extinct.

When you are ready to take your unsurmounted scenic delight to new depths you’ll be escorted to a small shuttle boat which will take you inside the cave where you can admire the fantastic blue rays dancing under the rocks. The best time to visit the Blue Cave is between 11 am and 2 pm and your skipper will advise you when is the best time to avoid the biggest queues.

Since the Blue Cave shuttle ride takes around 20 minutes, you have plenty of time to continue your day at sea by visiting some of the most beautiful beaches and quiet coves your skipper will advise you like Stiniva Cove, a hidden lagoon where you can enjoy swimming among the breathtaking cliffs or you can visit a charming little fishermen’s village with its typical Dalmatian architecture.

For lunch we advise to visit the famous Laganini or Zori restaurant on Palmižana Island where you can feel the vibe of great DJ’s music or enjoy vibrant scenes from one of the most theatric terraces on Palmižana beach.
