Celebrity Buzz: E. L. James on Hvar seeks muse for the new "50 shades of gray"
Hvar has an exclusive image which has attracted many celebrities as well it is home to the oldest organised tourism in Europe.
Novelist E.L. James (51), who became famous by her S&M love trilogy "50 shades of gray" hung out with her fans on Hvar. She visited the island with her husband and spent time shopping, visiting the pristine beaches, strolling on Hvar's riva (port) and chatting with her fans acting modestly and very friendly.
If you need to refresh your memory a little, Erika Leonard, better known by the pen name E L James, is the British author of the bestselling erotic romance novels trilogy Fifty Shades of Grey, Fifty Shades Darker, and Fifty Shades Freed. The combined novels have sold over 35 million copies in the United States, and over 70 million copies worldwide, setting the record as the fastest selling paperback of all time. In 2012, Time magazine named her one of "The World's 100 Most Influential People."
