“When you are in Hvar stay here”

I am very pleased with this accommodation and really recommend it to everyone who is planning to come in Hvar and wants to have a peaceful and nice vacation. This hotel is very quiet and calm, but close to everything – from the centre of the town and luxury yachts and great night life and great beach bars for party, for relaxation. The ambient of the hotel is really fine, the view is amazing. It is a little bit expensive, but if you want to rest and have everything when you need it, this is a great choice. The rooms are really great, the bed is comfortable and big. We booked for one person and it had a double bed with cute toilet. Choose a room with a sea view – it costs a bit more, but it is worthy!

“Can't recommend enough!!”

Excellent hotel!! Honestly can't recommend enough and would go back in a heartbeat!!
The location is PERFECT and in my opinion best location on the island! You have the sea and a beach 2 mins away and the hotel and pool over looks them (beautiful view of the ocean, boats, sunset etc) then its 10 min walk along the coast (on a proper path, totally safe, well lit, lovely views) to Hvar Town with all the restaurants, bars and shops. In the other direction less than 5 mins away is Hula-Hula beach bar....a must-see sunset bar - get there for 6pm for cocktails, music, sunset.
Food at the hotel is excellent quality and lots of choice! Breakfast is brilliant, plenty of options and they never ran out!
Staff are 10 out of 10!!! They were so so so helpful and polite, they really went out their way to help, nothing was a problem.
All the hotel is super clean and well kept (I’m a clean freak so hotels rarely meet my standards, but really can't fault it!) Even the pool toilets were spotless.
Lastly would recommend using the hotel transfer service to and from airport. Excellent transfer service, probably best I've ever used, they sort the ferry/catamaran tickets for you, have taxi's waiting, lovely drivers, very polite and helpful!!
All in all brilliant hotel!! Will be back for sure!!

Room Tip: The suits are huge, definitely worth the extra money!!

“A Balance of Everything We Wanted”

My friend and I stayed here for three nights in August. The accommodations were great and we had a spectacular view of the sea. The pool atmosphere is great, and it's within a few minutes walk from Hula Hula (one of the main beach parties on the island). The walk to town center was less than 10 minutes and it's quite enjoyable if the weather is nice.

Room Tip: You absolutely must get a sea view room!

“Something Special”

This is a truly one of my dreams come true. We came to Hvar during high season so it was a bit crowded. We were really needed a Vacation with lots of rest, sun and the sea and of course good food. In Amfora we really slept well, it is quiet, it is not hot in the morning and the view from the balcony is amazing. In the afternoon we tried to find a place around pools or we walked to the some of the beaches nearby. I can't say much about the food in the hotel because we mostly ate out because we wanted to experience the local restaurants. On the other hand having a glass of wine at the reception terrace is amazing experience- pure magic. We really had a great time! Hope to come back!

“Couldn't wish for more”

This was our first year in Hvar and we came here on a friend's recommendation. We booked our accommodation at Amfora back in May. The hotel was completely booked during our stay. We were pleased with the service and the kindness of the help due to our constant questions and requests (we asked them for restaurants recommendation and places to visit).

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in a beautiful environment surrounded by friendly and professional staff. Beside the crowd (we are aware that it was almost top of the season, but we were on a vacation and didn't want to be surrounded by a bunch of people :)) we were really satisfied with the time spent at Amfora. We would recommend the hotel for a family Trip (even though we stayed with friends, we would like to come back with our kids, they would love the pools and the playroom)!

“It is to behold....”

Must! Location, accommodation, the pool area, beach, proximity to the city ... Hard to find any fault in this destination which is crowned by the quality of Amfora Hotel. You'll be steps away from the club "Hula" which will feature a spectacular sunset and the presence of beautiful people, good music ... A paradise!

“Hope to come back soon”

This was our first trip to Hvar and we were all really impressed by this island, it's beauty, energy, atmosphere... We book our accommodation here, at Amfora due to recommendation from a friend. We have spend a night in Jelsa in a hotel and Amfora really was Like a heaven.

Room sizes were ok. We loved the rooms we had and they were ideally placed for enjoying morning sea view. Breakfast service and the quality of the food offering is good, but it is crowded in the morning. And the waiters seem disorganized at the buffet :)

Pool area is amazing. We had pizza and cocktails there and service was great considered that you have lunch in a pool :))

An absolutely superb resort hotel. If Hvar wasn't so complicate to visit (because the airport is a bit away from the Split, and in the summer it is always crowded on the ferry) we would definitely return!
